If you got 250 PIC it wont be that bad. A lot of people cant upgrade because they dont meet the minimums to hold an ATP. Several pilots need to purchase 30-100 hours to get their PIC time up.

Scariest yeah sad thing is all the regionals will have this problem because they were all hiring pilots right out of college....
On a positive note these guys upgrading all now have over 3,000tt 99% of it in the dash 8. I much rather fly with them than someone with 1,500 and little to no time in the airplane. You can't fly this plane for 4 years and not come out a better pilot. |
