Default AME in SoCal

Any recommendations for an AME in Southern California, preferably in the ONT/LAX area? I have been using Sky Doc in Diamond Bar for the past several years, but he retired unexpectedly. Thanks!

Dr. Zirpolo in San Diego is THE man...the FAA guys are actually afraid of him. Kind of a drive though, you can probably find one closer.

Dr. Gilbert in Riverside, his office is in the terminal building at the Riverside airport. He's a senior AME and can issue first-class medicals. Great guy, really into aviation and flying.

Do you guys know what type of color vision test, Dr. Zirpolo, uses? I am in Texas and looking for a good AME. I have a marginal color vision issue. Never had an issue with it during many years in the military. Always tested with the FALANT.
When I got out I got my civilian medical from a true Santa that has now retired. Any first hand info on Dr. Zirpolo's color vision test would be great.

Thanks

He has always used the plates with colored dots with numbers in them for me. I don't know if he has other tests available.

OK - it is CENTRAL CA instead of Southern CA - but Dr Heiges (check spelling) in Visalia and he was good. He has a variety of color vision tests. I'm like you SAT FLYER - but he had a color plate test which used Xs instead of numbers and I had no trouble passing it.
