Default Toes Fall asleep during flight

Recently during my flights my toes have been falling asleep. I have tried moving them around periodically and resting them flat on the floor helps but it still happens after a little while with my feet on the the pedals.

Has anyone else had this type of problem and were you able to get rid of it

Thanks Guys

I don't have the exact same problem, but try to take a 81 mg Low Dose Aspirin every day. It helps keep my legs from getting tired/stiff on long flights.

Disclaimer: Please don't confuse this with medical advice!

A very common early symptom of a brain tumor, nothing to fret about.

The last time my toes fell asleep during flight was when I was attempting to be a member of the Mile High Club.

But seriously, none of us are doctors here and if it's debilitating, you should see your own physician immediately. Good luck.

Why are your feet on the pedals? What kind of aircraft are we talking here? Make sure your wallet is not in your hip pocket and move your feet around. Put them on the dash if you want. They certainly should not be on the pedals.

Attempting? Did you fail the checkride?

There are several possibilities for what you are describing. Without more specific information on your age, weight, medical issues (if any), and a more detailed history it is very difficult to determine why your having the symptoms.

However, my first question would be: Do these symptoms only happen when your flying or have you noticed them at other times, i.e. sitting around at home, in your car, etc.

I already failed the checkride and was merely trying to salvage the rest of the flight.

Dr. Ice, I'd love to give you my detailed medical history, but I hardly know you. However, since you asked, let me say that I never used to have this problem at all. I get it only when flying and most particularly when my CFI shouts "right rudder, right rudder" during my signature zigzaggy takeoffs. That's my story. I'm sure FlyingChipmunk has his own tale of woe.

Isn't there an Idaho Senator that has a problem with his toes?
