Your noses run more now?! Crap, thats half the reason I went under the (what ever they cut with now days) for this morning! No pain so far like you guys said. Just snotty blood. I really hope that my results yield less mucus than my pre-op condition. If your nose runs, how can that lead to less infections, and less congestion? Snot= congestion, and infections for me. Any-hoo, thanks for the "heads up" on these matters and I will get good and doped up Friday for the splint removals.

My nose doesn't run anymore than it ever did now...just at the time because I was squirting that saline stuff every few hours. I had a cold last week nose just ran, no sinus pressure...so far so good.

I was told the infections come from lack of drainage...so if the mucus doesn't drain out due to a sinus obstruction it just sits up there and breads bacteria.

My fincee has the same thing, they told her no work for a week, but she is not a pilot. I had a friend get it done and she was fully capable of flying after a couple weeks with just a little bit of swelling still showing.
