I have a family friend that had to leave Delta 2 years ago because he could never get his ears straight. He is also a scuba diver. Has no trouble diving but descending always caused minor discomfort.

Chewing on something has always helped me... and I had ALOT of ear issues as a child.

Hey there...I had ear equalization problems when I started working for Mesaba. I had to have ear tubes put in. I had 3 infections in 6 months and finally I said enough is enough. I haven't had any problems in...7 months. My allergies and sinuses are better too. It is expensive but it's something worth checking out.

hi connection pilot...
i also had the tube in ma right ear only...which came out in two months...but the doc said its gonna remain for 12 months, but it never did...now i can manage the pressure diff but still not feeling very comfortable...

are u going to have the tube for ur lifetime or what??...i read so many stuff over internet, everything says not a gud thing to have the tube for too long...pls let me know on this
thanx

My doc told me 6 months to 2 years. If any longer then he would have to remove them. However he did say if I needed them again, it would be no problem to reinsert them. I wish lifetime tubes was an option because I am so much happier now that I have them...no ear infections and less allergy issues.
