Question Perscription Medication

Who do you guys (and gals) recommend asking regarding a perscription medication and whether it's ok to take.

I thought I remember an old AME telling me that if you ask your current AME they have to check for this drug during your next medical...So do I ask an old AME the question or any AME, what do you all think? The prescribing doctor didn't think it'd be an issue, but they were NOT an AME. Should I stay away from the company AME?

I would avoid the company AME like the plague.

This website has some info you can search. If it does not provide a clear answer I would just ask your AME. They do not test for any drugs on a routine flight physical, only excess blood sugar in the urine.

Also consider the underlying reason for the medication before you talk to the AME...
