Default Medical in the Airmen Database

Ok all this one has got me totally stumped... I just interviewed at an airline and they are doing backround checks on me. I got a letter from the FAA which was the same that was sent to the airline I interviewed at.
Its basically what ratings and types I have, my address, and medical.
Here's the weird part, my medical in the database in from 2/2011. Now Ive medicals in both 2012 and 2013, and I actually still have my medical from 2012 and my current one from 2013. Why would they have me 2 years out of date????? I never got a letter or anything saying there was a problem or my medical was deined. Now im worried this is going to cause me problems with getting this new job.
Any help here to ease my stress would be helpful, and of course the letter would come on a holiday weekend so I have to wait until Monday for any answers.
Is it also safe to assume that IF there was a problem with my 2012 medical, and the letter from the FAA was lost in mail (or something crazy like this) that I would have been deined a medical in 2013?
Like I said Ive heard nothing from the FAA or my AME.

Please make an effort to contact the AME who you saw during those dates and ask for an explanation. If you are unable, or the explanation is unclear please make contact with the Regional Flight Surgeon's office for your region.

Thanks for the response... Am I still ok to fly? I currently work for an airline and would have had no idea about this unless I had gone through the interview process.
Let me be clear I have a current 2013 medical in hand. Do you think it will be an easy solution or is this going to be a real pain in the rear?
I don't want this to screw up this potential job I have going.

assuming the faa had your correct address on file, you are safe to assume that this is simply a db glitch. you have a valid medical in hand, which is the regulatory requirement. if the faa had a problem with your medical they should have contacted you atyour address on file.

What is a good way to check to make sure my correct address is on file? Updated years ago, but never checked.
It would look funny sending a records request to a different address than filed. If that were the case.
