Default Possible RLS - Gabapetin vs. Requip

I am looking at a possible RLS diagnosis. Still waiting for a few other tests to rule out some other possibilities before it is official.

My Doctor gave me CLONAZEPAM a few days ago to finally get some much needed sleep. That works well for 5-6 hours of very solid sleep each night, but no effect or relief on the RLS symptoms.

Planning to start GABAPETIN today which I know very little about. I have however read several reports from others who have had good reviews on REQUIP.

BTW - Yes, I am off the schedule and know these are all no fly meds.

I would welcome any advice or input from those who have been through this; Just looking to minimize side effects and make life easy and enjoyable as possible.

Thanks in advance,

SP
