Default FAA savvy cardiologist

I am looking for recommendations for good cardiologists familiar with the FAAs requirements. New England area preferably.

Thanks,

My FAA examiner is Dr. Thomas Risser out of Cambridge hospital in MA. He is a navy guy, pilot, and cardiologist. Good guy and he will be honest.

Thank you Dublin Pup. I will give him a call.

Moderator...my post will not get seen here. I am looking to get input from other Major Airline Captains into regaining 1st class medical certification after a cardiac event.

Call Dr Lawrence Steinkraus at the Mayo clinic (Rochester, MN). He's the Director of Aerospace Med and is influential in the Aero Med policy community.

He also has all the resources of the Mayo at his fingertips to include cardiology and all related sub-specialties. No finer AME/specialist team to take your case to the FAA.
