Default Crystalens IOL intraocular lens cataract

Has anyone had experience with a crystalens or other intraocular lens following cataract removal? I've heard the crystalens is the best for pilots, and that other options result in halos and ghosting at night, as well as less near vision?
I had a retinal detachment which results in cataract formation- looking for the best option when that cataract comes out.

I've had one near, one far for 15 years, no complications, glasses for physicals, drivers tests, etc. Every day operation, no glasses. If you have night sparkles, they punch laser holes in the back of your eyeballs and the space junk floats out. Great deal.

I just had Torics installed and am quite happy with them in every aspect.

I went with monovision. But I would rather deal with readers than the extra hassle from OKC.

It has been several years since I had mine done, and time marches on.

However I would talk to one of the aeromedical consulting groups before going with any multifocal IOL. The FAA did not like them at the time that I had mine done, while the monofocal implants were not an issue.
