Default Looking for an AME in the Charlotte area

I am new to the CLT area and I am looking for a good AME. Are there any over age 40 guys who can recommend a guy they trust. Thank you.

Gross is great, I went to him once. Anyone know how'd he be following a year off for a concussion and post concussion symptoms, headache, fatigue etc? I'm guessing this might be an automatic red flag by the faa so trying to decide if I have to go the long route through chien or amas or just a super laid back ame like gros.
