PSA Pay and Benefits

Leave it to me for always thinking of pay contract clarifications but figuratively everyone needs to know the real interpretations so here goes another couple questions..
Recently I filed a pay claim dispute for a previous month that had been “accepted” in the SDO pay claim and paid out incorrectly on the next 20th check... I got the rest of the money but something else caught me off guard as to the min day as it applies to SDO picked up opentime. Obviously the minimum daily guarantee is 0330 per day and the cut outs for report times apply on day one and last of the trip.... now that is for linebolders (any opentime Pilot is treated as such regardless of if you’re reserve award or not).. my questionable interpretation regards applying SDO override to this minimum day. I have figured out that it is not applied to min day and therefore the SDO is just that, min day of 0330 under SDO.. not the 0330 x 1.25 as would classify SDO OVERRIDE bringing the credit pay to 4:23 if it had been override added. That is what I was told from pay claims department and is on my time summary as such... Has anyone dealt with the fact on an opentime ADD meaning SDO override applies that you are not getting that if the trip credit is only minimum daily guarantee?
What is the usual purposes people use expense reports here at PSA? I bring this up in a presumption it’s for any business related direct expense that we pay for? I was wondering if my uniform laundering could classify for this expense report?
Thanks guys.

You're cleared to travel once you have your badge I believe, and the vestment period carries over to mainline I believe.
The only pilots here who are qualified in both seats are Line Check Airmen.
You'll almost certainly be Senior Manned to Captain before two years, and yes the retention bonus is cancelled as soon as you pass your Captain PC.
If you get Senior Manned they can "voluntarily" displace you to any base they so desire with no explanation, justification, or reasoning. Currently it seems most get forced to Norfolk but that could change.

While Envoy and Pdt only have hub bases?

I wonder if it has something to do with overnighting airplanes in MX locations while at the same time being able to save the cost of paying for hotels. Take CAK for example. We have a number of crews overnighting there every night, company paid hotel. While putting airplanes in ORF/DAY/CVG/DAY for MX and not having to pay out those costs. Just my thought, I could be way off on that tho.

Yeah you have the bulk of the fleet parked every night not in a hub. Outstation bases have the potential to save on hotel expenses. There’s a lot of inertia as well - the house we built 20 years ago might not be the house we build today.

It comes down to costs and facilities.
Outstations sometimes offer good facilities for the fraction of cost of of those found at hubs. For example, both DAY hangars would cost PSA a arm and a leg to have have CLT, and good luck getting hangars space in DCA and PHL for mc.
Two, it makes sense to have have outstation my. Considering when the main focus of our operations is to provide feed into hubs, it is typical to have majority of our fleet overnight in outstations. ORF for example is dead smack in the middle of CLT, DCA, PHL and all are under a hour flight. It’s can justified to run high amount of freqs with RJs in and out of ORF then overnight a ton of RJs in the base to have them looked at before launching them back out the next following the morning.
There is a reason why the old Piedmont mainline, Piedmont, Air Wisconsin, and now PSA had and has a maintained a mc and crew base in ORF.
Crew costs, with a high amount of overnights in an outstation, you have a higher amount of hotel costs. So with a crew base, the airline the nix hotel and per diem costs right off the bat while getting their planes into a mx facility as well.
