Yea I will still submit a pay claim for it. I知 new to this.. will they still see I had originally been scheduled SDO on the assignment dates, it was taken off my FLICA so there really is no record of it on my current schedule.. how will they know I had it on there and was displaced..? Plus I don稚 even remember the pairing number but I could go look it up obviously.

The pairing number should also show in the FCFS requests page from when you picked up the trip. There is a way in Flica to see pairings that no longer exist, this exercise is left to the user. That's the only way I was able to figure out my "original" schedule during the Opspocalypse.

Just a quick pay contractual question that I知 trying to find or at the least interpret.... if you pick up an SDO day out and back (one day) how is the min day determined via the cutouts? Day One report before 1200L and the last day released off duty after 1700L... which applies or how would both in the instance your SDO flying day is out and back for a one day trip?

Travel benefits & CQFO
When does a PSA pilot become vested for travel benefits? Does the seniority at PSA for said travel benefits (and priority) carry over to American once a pilot flows? For instance, if the vestment period is 10 years and a pilot is with PSA for 8 years then flows to AA will he/she be locked in for travel benefits after 2 years at AA?
If a PSA pilot upgrades at 2 years, I understand the retention bonus goes away but does he/she typically fly as a Capt or an FO? If flying as a CQFO, are you paid as an FO or Capt? Can we expect forced upgrade for the near future and is forced upgrade typically accompanied by base re-assignment?
Thanks

The only pilots here who are qualified in both seats are Line Check Airmen.
You'll almost certainly be Senior Manned to Captain before two years, and yes the retention bonus is cancelled as soon as you pass your Captain PC.
If you get Senior Manned they can "voluntarily" displace you to any base they so desire with no explanation, justification, or reasoning. Currently it seems most get forced to Norfolk but that could change.

The forced upgrades are because they need left-seat bodies. Nobody flying FO after being upgraded.
The forced upgrades are a result of rapid growth. If the pilot group size stabilizes or grows more slowly, the only way for mandatory 2-year upgrades to continue is for average time-at-PSA to be about 4 years. I doubt that happens - and if it does, that means it will be a GREAT hiring market.

Ten years with the company to get retirement travel sounds correct, but I'm not sure where I read that.

Just reposting this for you since no one has answered your actual question. We work for American under an AA employee number, I'm almost positive our time with PSA counts toward our retirement travel benefits.
