Retirement benefits and flowing to mainline
I thought I read somewhere that some mainline benefits require around 10 years of service (or 15...not sure).
I also recall reading that those that flow from a wholly owned can bridge or apply those years of service at the WO toward that time requirement for the benefits at AA.
Is this true?

Yes, your time at a WO counts towards service time. But once your at mainline I the only benefit that remains the same is travel, retirements start over

Several others have too with no parents on the inside. Also, we were told that the time at WO do not count for retirement benefits. The time does count however for the one year required before the 401k is contributed though.
