I can see that the number of pilots is increasing; how are the number of scheduled lines growing in comparison to pilot growth?

They aren’t growing Charlotte because it’s actually shrinking with the number of lines. Seems to focus on our maintenance bases and out stations making it hard for commuters.

All grow no slow...

Would you please quantify “all grow no slow”, thanks.

We are at 130 airplanes and planning on taking it to 150. We are getting 1 700 a month from Envoy which will temporarily halt when we start taking delivery of 1 900 a month from the factory. When the 900s start coming in from factory, they are supposed to park the 200s 1 for 1.

Right now, there is a lot of reshuffling of assets to improve the operations such as ORF and PHL seeing growth at the expense of CLT. CLT is going to shrink a little some, but not much. But expect most of the growth to occur in PHL and ORF for the foreseeable future.

What is the difference in your pilot group size over the last year or two?

Maybe 3-500 numbers growth.
We probably lose 30ish a month across the list. I think w have 1800 on the list with probably 3-400 in training, management or instructor... As well as military leave and med etc.

Fun fact! Envoy opened a CA vacancy bid on the 700 for the dozen or so they'll hold on to.

It would be nice if we could staff the remaining 700s aaaaaaaaand take the 900s while dumping 200s 1:1.

Why are they holding on to a few?

Because AAG says you folks are over stretched and need some breathing room. Now the fun fact is the crj700 started 3 years ago being transferred to psa at 3 a month, went to to a month now 1 a month. In between envoy had to stop transferring 4 times because psa could not handle it, per AAG. 47 aircraft, 3 years transferring and envoy still has 19 to 22 of them.
PSA management is really doing a great job at planning.
