Does This Pilot Group Claim Moon Man?

This clown is an absolute disgrace

bababouey 04-22-2020 06:01 AM

He's not all bad, he finally confirmed that Air Force pilots are superior to everyone else:

(Q): Did you always wanted to be an airline pilot?

(A): I always wanted to be an Air Force pilot. Upon finishing college, I struggled to pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test, a test you can only take twice a life time (unless wavered under certain circumstances.). After not being able to pass the test both times, I continued to build my hours as a certified flight instructor and joined the airlines

lol what video was that? The AFOQT test is pretty basic.

rld1k 04-22-2020 06:09 AM

The part that makes me think he's unstable is no one is watching this crap. He has like 1 like per video

Rayjay 04-22-2020 06:13 AM

Usually people with some type of mental illness (depression bipolar et al.) project in a similar fashion as this clown. Maybe he needs a psychological evaluation?

it was under the FAQ section of his website. Ok, I just watched his video "furlough" where he plays an airline pilot furloughed after 9/11, wow, just wow.

Varsity 04-22-2020 07:00 AM

He's unprofessional and clowning the company in uniform.

I don't know how PSA management puts up with it.

ClearCreek 04-22-2020 07:12 AM

Wow, holy ****! Is he dancing in his room before van time?

Thanks OP for finding this cringiest of gems.

maybe he his suffering from depression, Maybe he is bipolar, maybe he’s worried about losing his job, maybe you should reach out to him privately offering to help him instead of embarrassing him by posting this thread........

Hey little guy, everyone reacts differently. We aren’t psychologists.

hindsight2020 04-22-2020 08:20 AM

WRT AFOQT only a couple sections are relevant for pilot accessions. But if indeed it is true he didn't even get the min component for a non-rated officer accession, yeah that's pretty bad.

The pilot composite only requires a combined 50 (25 on pilot, 25 on navigator), though those scores are generally considered non-competitive for an OTS pilot application.

Not all baby turtles make it to the ocean. It is what it is.

Embarrassing? He wants to be known otherwise he wouldn’t have a website, Twitter, Instagram and a YouTube Chanel.

All of which would immediately disqualify him from holding a class 1 medical. This is particularly disturbing. We’re in a period of time where the good ole IMSAFE preflight risk assessment from the private pilot days is more important now than ever. External stresses are creeping their way ever so surely into the forefront of our minds. We see it daily. Empty airports, light pax loads, cancellations, etc. It’s impossible to ignore, but it is your duty to come to work ready and fit to fly. Professionalism is more important now than ever.

Ask yourself this. Would you be comfortable putting your family on an aircraft that you know was going to bag an engine at V1 with this guy at the controls? Someone who is most likely thinking of his next TikTok video instead of about his job?

At the very least management needs to have a serious chat with him. And at the worst he needs a medical eval. His own twitter states he’s going through personal issues. I certainly hope this guy isn’t on the line flying.

As a side note, why is it the AA regionals have all of the instapilots with their blogs, vlogs and YouTube pages? It’s like they forget they’re flying a 50 seat RJ. Heck even the guy who quit the airlines made a YouTube video about it.

This is the point I was eluding to.

Sent his IG, FB, and YouTube to PSA Pro Standards. What an absolute clown. I'm sure AA is fine with him representing their brand in such a manner, right?

PSA has known about his for over a year. He had a YouTube series even before he came to PSA.

His video about 9/11 is one of the most offensive things that I have ever seen.

rld1k 04-22-2020 11:44 AM

Pretty telling that he lists actor, YouTuber, vlogger, clown, and airline pilot is the last thing. Dude got the job to dance around in uniform for likes.

The 9/11 video was disgusting. Guy is a clown and makes pilots as a whole look bad.

I felt so horrible for Sophia and the kids after seeing that train wreck.

Tilem 04-22-2020 02:44 PM

How has this guy not been taken offline????

Seems there’s more than enough subject matter here to remove him from the line and get him checked out.

This video seem weird and wrong. This guy is pretty disturbing if you ask me.

Management has been aware of this guy since he was in new hire training in the spring of ‘18.

You'd think they'd do something; the media would have a field day if something were to happen.

Will they not let him upgrade? What is / was the time to upgrade there?

Wonder if they’re afraid of a lawsuit? Based on some of his posts it *seems* they’ve been giving him the message to knock it off ASAP...

Why doesn’t he just become a soap opera actor? Seems that’s where his passion lies anyway?

Varsity 04-22-2020 05:35 PM

He has delusions of grandeur. Common trait of bipolar/schizophrenic.

Macchi30 04-22-2020 05:57 PM

I actually kind of like his Pilot vlog series.. I’m a cadet here, so I like being able to see a raw look inside the airline.. To be honest, I think this thread is disappointing. It doesn’t seem just to attack a man who probably never wronged you in any way. You may not like all of his online content. But as others have said, if management is aware, and doesn’t seem to care much. Then why continue to push against him? I know what you all are saying as far as your mental health assessments go. But if management is aware. Why keep pushing when nobody knows the facts? It’s just opinion at this point.

colonials13 04-22-2020 06:20 PM

Can this thread please just die already? Is this the ONLY thing going on at PSA? Jesus Christ.

Chunk 04-22-2020 07:01 PM

It’s unprofessional and embarrassing at best, signs of being delusional at worst. It’s been the conversation for a while now in private in more than a few flight decks.

if he’s smart, he moves on to just making non pilot videos

irrelevant 04-22-2020 08:40 PM

It's a brave new world.

How far has PSA's leprechaun been promoted now?

What does this mean in non Moon Man speak?

Battlinbear 04-23-2020 04:54 AM

Maybe he should have watched the Tom Mcguinness Story before making this. I’m going to stop before I type how I really feel and get banned. Y’all need to help this kid, but it’s probably a moon point. He obviously doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

chrisreedrules 04-23-2020 07:15 AM

Everyone who should know about this guy knows. Nothing has been done. I’m sure he threatened a lawsuit or something...

on what grounds? Acting professional while in uniform is probably a requirement of employment at PSA.

Chunk 04-23-2020 06:32 PM

I ran into him in the CLT crew room a while back. I went to pull him aside to give some free advice but realized he likely wouldn’t listen and it would possibly be seen as harassment or whatever so I let it go. Juice wouldn’t have been worth the squeeze

What gave you that idea???

.

That bolded statement is an extreme stretch.

Personal issues do not always equate to not being fit to fly. If that were the case, 90% of the pilot group would have needed a medical eval to clear them during a divorce or break up, loss of a loved one, etc. But that's a different topic. The FAA needs to really look at how they handle mental health and instead promote utilizing resources to better one's mind, as opposed to scaring pilots into thinking that talking to a psychologist about a rough break up could deem them as unfit to fly.

I don't know or follow this guy (what he posts doesn't interest me at all, especially the dancing), but every time I've heard his name come up, it's been in a positive view from captains who he has flown with.

Seems like a happy kid who likes his job. Dorky videos but I don't see why people are getting crazy offended and saying he's depressed. Lol I must have missed something.
