Heck, most of the PSA pilots in the banner adds you see here are flying at other airlines not named AA by this point.

Ditto the pilots used in a lot of the recruiting videos on YouTube.

And my above post should’ve said “DEC program.” Thank you autocorrect.

Assuming that’s not humor, it’s absolutely idiotic. CLT ramp will present plenty of other opportunity on it’s own for you to make money.

When you also consider how much the mothership pads the block time for schedules in and out of CLT, you may be understating that.

parking lot pattie today, "considering I do this every day, I know what i'm doing"....Meanwhile the ramp was fubar because of her. CLT ramp is a dumpster fire and a money maker typically. They need real controllers.

For my own sanity I've had to train myself to just embrace the suck in Charlotte. Set the brake, "sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for your patience" to the passengers, then slide my seat back and put my feet up.

I would be curious to see the metrics of how much money in fuel we waste just sitting on the ground in Charlotte.

Maybe someone can enlighten CLT how to run a ramp, then people won't stop to contact a new controller every 15 feet.

North ramp was seriously bad this morning. I landed on 18L 30 min early, blocked in 20 min late. Most of that was spent in the north hardstand watching the “controller” create a few Mexican standoffs.
