I personally love boarding a brand new CRJ 900 via stairs out in the elements myself.

Folks, this is a guy that was looking for contact info from Air Muldavia just a few months ago and before that Compass. Newbie troll.

And he started the whole downgrade thread back then. He resurrected the downgrade trolling.....LOL

Personally, if I'm riding in back I'm just grateful for a ride... No matter how I have to board.

Unfortunately, this board is full of people like that. I don't even think half of the people that post are even airline pilots. ************* and jetcareers are much better.

WakeWash 09-16-2015 12:23 PM

God forbid you have to board a regional jet the regional way.

Those jets should be called "Scope Jets" and the airlines that fly them "Contract Airlines".

Using the term regional jets and regional airlines makes me feel all warm and gushy, ready for more concessions.

You wouldn't want to be a barefoot pilot? Probably best flying in the world.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of tropical floatplane pilots that would agree with you.

It's really not that much different from regional Ramps at other airports.

You've never met FirstClass, have you?

The funny thing is, if they did change it to 20 a month attrition other than the SSP would STOP. Something tells me they haven't thought of that though.

PSA or Miami Air?

I'm going to training at PSA on the 28th but I got an email from Miami Air wanting to interview me next week. After research, a lot of things are pointing me to stick with PSA since my goal is to be at a Legacy in 10 years or less (don't worry, I'm not depending on the ssp). I'd only be building 300-400 hours a year at Miami air and the commute and time at home would be the same for both places. I'm really leaning towards PSA since it will provide me the most options 5-10 years down the road but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd probably bail and grab the 737 type.

That doesn't even make sense. If it's 20 month that would make a class size of a min of 48 since PDT gets 4 and Envoy gets a minimum of 50%.

After Envoy's 824 pilots are completed, PSA flow moves to 28 per month.

Haha fat kid in moms basement is back at it again.

All PSA is getting is an increase to 6 per month and straight flow.

They gave up SAP and critical pay to get it.

I'm a little busy this week but I am gonna enjoy going back through this thread and others to pull out the soundbytes of various PSA fanboyz saying how they would never give up SAP - ever ever ever ever.

Actually, it's 5. Pitiful and they can bite me.

However, we didn't give up anything. Still SAP, still a broken critical structure until the arbitrator decides, still have everything else. All they get is DEC language. But I'll let you get back to being busy inventing fantasies about your ENY space shuttle program. Meanwhile I'll continue to give period REAL reasons to avoid PSA until they realize 5/month is a worthless number relegating us to prison for 15 years.

They haven't got it yet, it has to be voted on. Anything less that 12 /month should be voted down immediately. AAG is not going to let any one of the wholly owneds raise pay. And the "quick upgrade" only lasts for so long. An increased flow is all we realistically have to attract new hires. The company knows this, but they are too worried about the immediate staffing issue, which would be solved near term and long term by a flow of 12 to 15 /month. Always losing the forest for the trees.

And some may not care about SAP because "it's been broken for a while now". But it's only broken because management wants it broken. Maybe for this very reason here. Having the SAP was one of the main reasons myself and many others came to PSA. If it remains broken or is voted away, I won't stay here. Nor will many other FOs.

The ball is in our court. Here is what we want: Fix the SAP NOW. And 15 /month. That is the position we should be negotiating from. But from what I hear, our MEC is pretty much inept at negotiating with this management. So I won't be surprised if they try and tout some crap TA as "the best we are going to get" and convince pilots it's worth a yes vote.

You are telling lies again. Period. Over and over uninformed lies. The Pilots didn't give up anything. In fact they gained.

You don't even know what your talking about. You don't even believe half of what you post on here. You are just contradictory for the sake of being argumentative. And your obvious attempts at trolling only make you look foolish.

Shouldn't you be busy picketing outside AAG's office for your 15 flows a month?

Has it become "true" flow as in it's no interview/medical - simply when your number calls off you go?

If, and that's a big IF it passes, yes. But at 5 a month and a mediocre increase to 8 over the course of a year isn't going to sit well. It's still a15-20 year road from new hire to mainline.

It states there will be another meeting to increase the flow numbers once the Envoy flow goes from 50% down to 35% or whatever they have in their contract. AAG wants to more senior Envoy guys to flow first but eventually all three WOs will have the same flow numbers.

It also said we'd meet this time to discuss a number commensurate with our current size and it turned into "what still you give us for nothing".

It shouldn't have been this. But it is. I don't trust the tyrants, cheats, and corruption in Dayton. If all they say is they'll "meet to discuss" then they can keep it because their words with that mean as much as they do with SAP, CCP, Payroll, schedule efficiency, and all the other things that have spewed from Dayton like a Ghostbusters movie since last October.
