Can you elaborate on what you mean by "what AAG wants PSA to do"? Im not gonna hold my breath, but if PSA made BNA a base, that would be awesome!

Aag wants PSA to take it up the ringer. Mission accomplished

I have done plenty of BNA overnights. Just wait until you see the Hotel Preston. Dont forget to stop by the front desk for your goldfish...

AAG wants PSA to be the sole CRJ operator amongst the wholly-owned carriers. It's no secret PSA does not have the hangar space to operate such a large fleet of CRJs.

Back in the mid to late 1980s, BNA was a hub for American. That said, the infrastructure for a hub operation is in place. This isn't to say BNA will become a PSA/American Eagle hub. Hangar space in BNA will be less expensive to acquire/build than in ORD.

Add into the mix that the cost-of-living factor favors BNA over ORD. PSA has a history of basing crews in lower cost-of-living areas.

Now comes the big grain of salt...don't believe it or bet on it until the announcement is made and the first bid for BNA is actually announced. Same goes for ORD.

I was going to throw that in as well. I wonder if the previously being a base would make a huge impact? I can tell you, for a fact, that BNA is a booming airport. Its growing very fast, along with the Nashville area as a whole. Last year the airport emplaned over 24 million passengers and has in the works to extend 2L to 11.5 and Rwy 31/13 is almost done being refurbed. The airport as a whole is growing and doing quite well, from a financial standpoint.

I'll be thrilled when they finally announce JAX as a crew base.
