So is it true

"Need Sum PIC time" not alot just some LOL :)

#1. Is it true PSA is taking DEC's or is this a ploy to get ppl on property and yank the carpet out from up under you in training to say nope we don't need Capt's now but you can be an FO lol:D GOTCHA!!!! Thus formally Not to Open a "can o worms" or whoop @$$ Amongst my fellow disgruntled or upset guys about legitimate pilot contract issues but is PSA taking DEC's I lil birdie told me this is it tru!!! If so hows the training? can you get in and out then on line without taking or getting a bullet?!!! Id like to make a decision on this before pulling the trigger!!!

#2. Hows the reserve, kinds? types? rules?

#3. Are there enough F/O's on property already qualified where if you were a DEC you wont hold the seat long due to getting displaced by a more senior FO Upgrading!!!

#4. Whats the Flow to AA look like "HA funny joke" no seriously I would like some sort of a half way descent answer on that one!!! cause im just curious.

OK guys ready to hear some answers let not get too sarcastic here in the replies ok Thanks

1. yea we are hiring decs. i would doubt we would yank the carpet anytime soon. we are pretty short on captains

2.we have reserve. you would be on it obviously. short call long call and hot. short is pretty basic 1.5 (might be 2 its been a while) hour call out. long is 12. and hot you sit at the airport.

3. you wont get displaced to fo, unless we furloughed etc. you will be on reserve probably forever.

4. no flow. we have a guaranteed interview program as of now. 4 a month or 48 a year. supposed to have info on an updated deal on monday. so far the only people to not pass the interview told aa they did not want the job.

5. was that good enough?

How long would it take a newhire to get a chance to Interview at AA? I hear 20 years?
What if they fail the interview?

Why is there no flow thru like Piedmont & Envoy?

How many CRJ200's are being parked for thru 2017?

How will the FO movement stagnate as I see there's now hiring of street Captains and little if no First Officers?

Why has the CR7 plane transfer schedule been reduced and scheduled to stop by end of 2015?

Thanks.

Regarding the 200' it is hard to say when will they be park, they are schedule right now to be on property till 2018 but things can change. The crj700 has not slowed down at all, we just got 1 delivered yesterday and that was the plan since the beginning to get 2 900 and 1 700 in May then 3 a month until November when we start receiving the 900 again.

We are still hiring FO's, classes have been reduce to let the training department catch up, no one right now knows exactly how the DEC will work, rumor has it that when bids come out if they can't fill them up then they will pull new hire guys who meet the minimums and put them in class, but right now there is no official answer to this.

I'll answer your questions in order.

The new plan for SSP or flow will be announced Monday after PSA MEC met with PSA and AA a few days ago. Many improvement were made. Personally I hope it stays SSP instead of flow because you get through the list quicker if AA decides not to take someone who interviews poorly. It will probably change to a Flow though you'll know Monday.

There are zero 200's being parked. I confirmed this with myself just yesterday. First 200 comes off lease in 2018.

Well we are fat 300 FO's right now, attention has been turned to Captains which we are short on. We are at 80 airplanes with a plan to be at 150 airplanes in two years. FO hiring will resume at some point in the near future. What can you do if FO's don't have the time? You either have it or not.

There are 47 American Airlines owned CRJ700's. We are going to take 17 of those through November of this year from Envoy. The reason they are going to stop in 2015 as you asked is because American ordered us another 24 brand new CRJ900's which will start in November. That's why the Envoy 700's are stopping. But as soon as the 24 900's are delivered at 3 per month, not to worry as the remaining 30 700's start up again from Envoy.

If you are worried about growth slowing at PSA you shouldn't. We only have 80 of the 150 airplanes on the property. There is plenty of opportunity here at PSA. I'm told several Envoy guys have interviewed for the DEC program, I would expect we'll see probably 100 guys from Envoy come over in the next year. With current FO reserve at Envoy recently confirmed at 4+ years, it only makes sense to jump over here and get your PIC time and get out.

Nice attempt.

Let me throws some facts at your mudslinging.....

1: No one has failed the interview that wanted the job. We have sent 60ish to AA since Dec 2013. Now, if one were to fail the interview AA still has to interview someone else. The agreement is for JOB OFFERS, not interviews. Even if some fail the interview there will still be movement.

2: Expect to see a true flow within the next few days.

3: You are purely speculating with no facts to back this up. However, even if we were to park every last 200 we have we are still slated to be almost 50% larger than we are today by the end of 2017.

4: See above. Expect the street captains to only be hired for a few months as the training backlog for FOs is cleared. A significant amount of FOs are reaching their 1k 121 during the summer or shortly after. We still need hundreds of captains.

5: The 700 deliveries are stopping in November of 2015 because AAG exercised 24 more 900 options. They will be placed at PSA at the rate of 2-3 per month. When those deliveries cease PSA will continue to receive Envoy 700s. This is publicly available information.

How did you do that? Talk to yourself in the mirror?

Hilarious.
