I bet theyll buy compass. Make them all AA pilots. Then flow them before all the WO pilots.

I'm also interested in possibly going to one of the AA wholly owned. Does anyone live on the West Coast and commute to PDT, PSA, or EVY. If so, can you tell me what it's like and if you think you made the right choice with commuting?
I commute LAX to DFW and have never had to use the commuter policy. They use the A321 with two jumpseats on that route. Only had to sit in the jump twice in a year of commuting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Training environment
Interviews upcoming with two of the three AA WO's, and another possibly after that. Not really concerned about flow, etc, but would like to know if anyone going through training recently has any comments. Am hearing that some of the classroom instructors like to threaten every day that if the students don't shape up they are going home . . . . doing weight and balance manually, using a wiz wheel again, dispatch duties, 30% flunk out rate and other horror stories. My current regional has a great training program, maybe best to stay put? Just looking for pros and cons and wondering if the AA WO's have grown too fast and training departments haven't kept up?

No matter what airline you go to their will always be disconnects/discontinuities between ground and sims and from instructor to instructor and then from IOE capn to IOE capn, roll with the punches, say 'yes sir/maam' and check off those boxes. |

They say at Compass the 175s are locked in until 2020. Only way to bring back those 20 birds would be through court.
