OK, obviously there will be a lot of studying going on for us guys/gals over these next few weeks. But do the instructors encourage us to go out and relax a little bit, or are they like "Study Study Study!"

...may sound like a dumb question...but I am just curious.

I'll be there too on Friday, found a Gold's Gym less then a mile away from the Best Western if anyone else like to workout. Is anyone else looking for IAH, I'm a TX boy.

just got hired today for the march 22 class. can you pm me the information on golds? we were not told what equipment of base we are going to get yet today. apparently they were doing interviews for 40 guys (didnt see any gals today at lga). people were dropping like flies though, atleast one down every sim session, tech interview, and written. when i left there were only two hired so far.

Colgan Bases

Anyone have any good info on Colgan. Is it possible to get the Saab 340 and a Norfolk base as a new hire? What's the status of the company and how many people are leaving a month and where are they going? Good company to work for, or would you recommend getting jet time? How is training?

Jet Vs T-Prop is irrelevant, how the company treats you is different, if you have a choice dont go to COLGAN, because like 50% of the new hires will make a lateral move anyway, chance are you will too,so dont waste your time, Seniority is everything. I think more than half of my newhire class has left Colgan and gone elsewhere, one guy even went to GOJETS, silly if you ask me, but shows how miserable COLGAN can be
