Sub forums

Seems like the sub forums have completely killed activity here. Except for Mesa, nothing can kill Mesa.

The only important news is envoys SUB 2 year upgrades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I said SUB!!!!!!!1

Agreed. It's too much work to check each subforum for new activity compared to having it all on one page.

Subforum are fine for airlines with 10,000+ pilots, but overkill for smaller contract carriers. All each subforum does is basically hold the respective "L&G at Brand X" thread.

I'd be in favor of a return to old ways.

I like the sub forums. It is pretty hard to see the difference in the "new post" icon...

Pilots; if they had nothing to complain about, they would complain that there was nothing to complain about.

Years ago, when I went to visit my grandmother in the nursing home she would always complain about a lot of things. When she only was complaining about being constipated, I knew she was doing well.

Yeah, I'm not clicking through 13 subs to see what's going on in Regional HE double chopsticks. Oh well, probably not missing much.

I like the sub forum Idea. If i'm trying to find the thread for my company I can just go to that sub. Before I had to scroll through 5 threads about logbooks/luggage/where I keep my logbook and another 6 posts about Envoy and how great their flow/upgrade is.

Also the megathreads where getting pretty ridiculous. Someone asks a question and the answer was "go look in the skywest thread...been answered there dozens of times." Where?? The thread has like 7k posts! Hopefully with segregation people will be inclined to start new thread topics and diversify the information.

All the regional pilots complained that they didn't have subforums like the big boys. So you got subforums.

I said I wanted their paychecks. How did they get "subforums" out of "paychecks" ;)

Sub-forums are much easier to keep tabs on what is going on with certain carriers. It's much easier to find information on a specific carrier vs going through hundreds of pages on a single thread to find what a person is looking for. If there is activity, it will be nice bold to tell you so. If it's not, then it will not be bold.
