Problem is activity has only been 20-30% of what it was before the sub forums.

I like how Commuitair makes up 100 percent of the "other" tab

I don't think they are finished migrating. Look at the unsorted threads. Still lots of airlines to move, athough most are smaller yet (e.g. Pen Air, Island Air, Silver, Cape Air).

Thank you + Questions

Thank you all for the feedback!!

(And a few of the posts really cracked me up - made my day!)

I have shared my take on my latest post here: in brief, it sounds, and please correct me if I am wrong, the "regional" page needs (and perhaps the "major" page too?) to allow both type of experiences: the users who wants to browse by "airline", the users who just prefer to see a list of the most recently updated threads, sorted by: most recent first.

https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/h...ub-forums.html

I am listening loud and clear, I have asked a question to the users who are saying that it is now too much work to check the regionals: users can still see all the most recent threads by scrolling all the way below the categories.

It's extra work compared to the prev experience, the questions that I have for the users who prefer not-to-see the subforums are:
A) do you see all the threads if you scroll down?
B) is this the only impediment that you are currently finding?

Hope this makes sense, thank you again to everyone for taking the time to share. I definitely appreciate and it does help.

Nick

The more, the easier

Pilots; if they had nothing to complain about, they would complain that there was nothing to complain about.

The more you all "complain", the easier my job is. Sooooo keep it coming. ;)

Agreed, get rid of subforums, no need for it

Never mind. Just found what I was talking about.

I like the subforums it keeps me from hunting or sifting through a ton of junk. I figure if something important in the regional industry happens it'll be on the bottom of the page.

Activity is still there, to be honest, they are within the airlines sub-forum. There is no need to have a single thread for an airline that covers multiple different topics on an airline.

Eureka!

We have found a solution that will allow both constituents to enjoy the content of the forums the way they prefer.

Please have a look here and let me know what you think. We are going to have this all done for the Regional section by the end of May. Hope this works, thanks All!
