Can anyone recommend a good lumbar support device? I fly the 175 and our lumbar support never works. Makes for an uncomfortable seat and I don't want any long term back problems.

I've seen this product @ MSP airport. I think that might be a good purchase for lumbar support, as well as other uses

I'm not normally the rules police, but I don't think you can bring a seat modification to a cockpit. The seats designed and approved to allow you to operate the plane safely. Some coworker taddles your in a bad spot.

I don't think a cushion or a folded blanket would be considered a modification. None of these things are being attached to the aircraft and altering its structure.

I used a self-inflating back pillow made by Relax the Back. It compresses down to a relatively small size for easy stowage in our bags.

Guys I'm not sure either way. I've heard of guys bringing the Dollar tree lumbar things. If you taxi into something when using it I'd see that being put on the list of contributing factors. It's stupid but just cya
