now i know thats a lie... only 5-10 things deffered on 274 planes.. that will never be true,, i don't care if your maintenance is pristine.

It does, main problems we see is the NVS (not so "Q" without it) and the fuel quantity indicator (I'm always sticking the damn tanks)

Yeah I know for sure Colgan will not give a damn about the Noise Cxling thing, hell if its legal without, why fix it????? Thats what good Ole Chucky would say

Dont forget chuck isn't in charge anymore. You cant assume things anymore. We have to wait to see what happens.

Most of the planes have a fuel cap that is attatched to the airplane, which is good, so long as one remembers to put the fuel cap back on, bad if one forgets. I fueled jets as a second job last year, look at the underside of a A-320 some time, one may see a lot of nicks in the paint about 5-10 inches away from the fuel cap in a semi-circular fashion, I would deduce that is from an un secured fuel cap beating the wing up as the plane flys. Also noticed a DC-9 once that had come in, the fuel door shut, but the chain with about of a fourth of the fuel cap still attatched to it; hanging down out of the fuel door. The fuel door had either been closed or the wind closed it, but it was not latched, the rest of the cap was missing, there were several nicks in the paint on the wing. Showed the FO, he was not happy, I can't blame him either.
