I don't know for sure because I've never seen the online app but most others you cannot apply unless you meet the mins. I'm sure you know this already but don't apply early knowing you won't get the call until you have the mins. What I mean is don't say you have the mins (when you don't) just to fill the app. They will crosscheck the dates for when you applied with your logbook to see if they match.

They took 10 days to get back to me. My status still says screening although I've been offered a choice of interview dates. Don't know what the deal is.

Is there a number or e-mail that we can try and get ahold of them so we can and get some answers?

Taylor 03-11-2007 08:04 PM

I just got my invite. It looks like I have choices of the 19th, 20th, 26th, or 27th. I applied Feb 15th. The e-mail was from recruiting@expressjet. Hopefully that helps. Is aviation interviews still the best source of interview gouge? Anyone have any advice? I've read that I need to start studying Jepps...any other advice? 121 regs? Thanks!

Congrats on your invite for the Interview. As far as studying for the big day, make sure you are current, IFR proficient, and up to speed on your basic regs and aircraft specs. If you want a basic list of areas to study and Part 121 regs you should be familiar with look at

Dont study just to scrape by, get in the books and then you will feel really confident on the big day.

Good Luck

after your status is screening it will stay that way for EVER. you will receive an e-mail from recruiting giving dates for an interview. you just reply back with your responses. then they send you an e-mail with travel information and stuff that you need for the interview. good luck and pm me with other questions. ive got some mexican plates that i can scan and send out if anyone needs.

I definitely wouldn't fudge the numbers just to get the application thru, i'm well aware that lying is not the way to get the interview (let alone the job). I was only thinking of a situation where someone had like 90 hrs multi and they were pretty certain that they would have the 100 in a week or two after that. More of a hypothetical question than anything else.

Thanks for the advice!! I really like the list on that website...very helpful. I come from a military background so I'll take all the help that I can get.
