On Monday I sent and e-mail to [email protected] and explained that I had a few friends that applied a few weeks ago and got an interview and I applied 2 months ago and heard nothing. Today I got an e-mail asking for a phone number and best time to call. Just a heads up to anyone else having problems.

Even if the site says you are DQ'd re-apply! They are having some software issues and the system DQs people at random. It happened to me, I re-applied, got the email 2 weeks later.

After doing the online app how long does it take for the status to change or do you just get an email? My friend "recommended" me, hes a capt at xjt, but it doesnt show up on my profile. How did the process work for you guys, from the time you did the online app and so forth.

My boss is an XJT CA and recomended me also, but I dont know if that has anything to do with getting an interveiw, maybe in the interview it will help. It took about two weeks for my statues to change from "added" to "screening", then another week and a half for me to get the e-mail for the interview. I have also work for xjt before on the ramp and ticket counter. Hope this helps

It does. I actually called there yesterday and talked to Angela Mangafas the recruiter, she said that it had (the rec) nothing to do for an interview, the go first come first serve. So it must have to do with the latter.

It seems that they are swamped with Apps and though they would like to have a first come first served system, they really don't. I first applied in Oct06 (with 1200 TT and 500 multi-turbine) and didn't interview until Mar07. My first App was one of those 'randomly' DQ'd in Dec06 and once I resubmitted it in 02Jan07 they didn't call me until mid-Feb07.

I wish I could give some more specific help, but it seems that repeatedly calling and emailing may eventually get you noticed.

Does any one have a list of paper work that XJT wants you to bring to the interview. I am probably going to apply soon and I would like to start to get things in order (that is if they actually call). Also if you're prior Military (non -flying) do they want copies of your DD 214?
