6 approaches in the preceding 6 months, including tracking & intercepting courses (VOR Radials and/or GPS courses) and holding procedures.

these can be done either in actual conditions (if you're current and comfortable doing that) or under the hood with a safety pilot with you

Other than 3 T/O & LDG's every 90 days most 121 operators don't have proficiency requirements other than what the recurrent sim covers (I've never done 3 cat II's in sim).

Ok I found it. I was wrong in my previous statement. It's "Within the previous 6 months, six ILS approaches, three of which may be flown to the Cat. I DH by use of an approach coupler."

I thought you had to go to Cat II and only got one coupler. CFR 61.67

This is also "to be eligible for cat II" so it might or might not be for currency. I'm hungover like a mo-fo right now so I'm going to lay on the couch.
