It is true that there isn't much movement there and to go there now would probably mean a long upgrade. I don't think 70 seaters should be flown by regionals, and certainly not for the pay that any current 70+seat operator is getting. Its pathetic...but no one should be arguing over the pay rates because regionals shouldn't even be flying them.

Actually the B717 was originally a MD-95. Successor to the MD-90.
