Theres a lot of us here who think that, it's disgusting.

This place sucks... my chief pilot asked for a ****ing doctors note. This is not high school. You don't go to the doctor for a cold.

We don't get half the stuff ya'll get everywhere else. $37/hr and no bonus for new guys...sad.

****ing microsoft tablets.

Then they'll email us about how big their d*** is, and that we need to sit reserve on our days off cuz they can't figure out how to recruit pilots

Thank you, as far as scheduling flexibility, is the crj better because there’s more of them or is it the same ???

Because there's more movement. The schedules aren't really "better" but there's less reserve. CRJ movement is fast due to losing guys to ERJ, as well as normal attrition. The only issue with that is, you won't be able to drop trips like the ERJ guys because theres less reserves. Bottom line, you'll become more senior on the CRJ quicker. That is subject to change as we take on more ERJs. You'll be good on either airframe. The most important thing is base selection

So the ERJ guys can drop trips easier because there’s a bigger reserve pool on that airframe??

I respect this attitude so much. At the end of the day, we are all just at a regional. Let’s just hope we all move on to bigger and better places sooner than later.

Also respect for not taking my joke any further than it was, a joke. :o

Most pilots are SkyWest are good people. But I will say that I did have a SkyWest pilot try to chide me for going to a regional before.

It's probably 4 or 5 people in the whole company that result in all these stereotypes in the first place.

This is the funniest post on this thread. Dude--he is not gonna get eaten alive, ok? He'll be just fine on the line and will probably do a great job. Gotta love flame throwers like you who hide behind a computer screen and ridicule others!

To the OP--congrats on getting to an airline. Enjoy training and soak in your first few flights because you'll remember them forever.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I don't say anything here I wouldn't say in real life, this industry is too small to expect anonymity online. People who get in a tizzy over constructive criticism develop a reputation on the line wherever you go. Not doing any research when plenty of good resources are right in front of you is not going to help you make informed career decisions or learn your airplane.

Sorry if that makes me a "flame thrower".

I'm in no way saying he'll make a bad pilot, but that attitude is not going to end up with happy times in the cockpit and on overnights.

you're already miserable. if you were really happy with your life right now you wouldn't be looking for attention on an aviation forum
