I really don't care for online education, so this is probably the best way for me to make it happen. I can stay in my current career field for the two years, but that means I miss out on seniority and the airlines miss out on an awesome pilot.
A) probably within 6 months of starting it is possible, at least at any airline with fast movement. Remember, schedules are tremendously reduced on Saturday. You will need to keep on a reserve line a little hit longer to keep weekends off, and also delay upgrade. Held weekends off as a reserve pilot at my airline starting from my second month bidding...
B) absolutely will not happen.
