Good to see they're still wasting money lobbying congress to chip away at the 1500 hour rule. Just remember that next time they say they can't afford to pay you more.

I wonder if the airport they showed losing service in Alaska is the one where it lost service because the runway was in such poor condition that planes couldn't land on it (and so now supplies are brought in overland).

Commuting across the country from their parents basement, because they could not afford to live like normal people definitely contributed to colgan killing people.

The amazing thing is that when provided evidence contrary, some people do not accept the information, instead, they double-down and go even further off the deep end.

The rest requirement change as a result of Colgan was a good thing. The 1500 hour rule was not.

First of all it was a she. Secondly, I don't believe there was such a thing back then as calling in fatigue. Don't care about your opinion of the 1500 rule. Suck it up and get your hours.

It's easy to say when someone else should've called in fatigued after the fact. Get a year on the line, realize how insidious and difficult fatigue is to judge, then get back to us.
