Don't sweat where you go for a regional too much. With that experience I expect you'll be at a major pretty quickly after you get current if there's not anything you're leaving out that is a factor.

I think Endeavor would be best for your commute but it might be longer to get online there too.

Don’t forget if you wait for endeavor you will have a higher boarding priority on those delta flights because of their wholly-owned status.

This and positive space commuting on your second attempt. Don’t clear for the cabin or jumpseat on first flight? Call scheduling and they’ll get you on the next flight.

Endeavor is great but prepare to take a few laps in the hiring pool...if you’re not in a hurry, great option!

Go to whatever regional can put you in class the fastest. Apply to majors while in Indoc. You'll be at the majors by the time you finish IOE.

Pretty sure Allegiant has a domicile in FLL and you could probably get on there with your resume.

I forgot all about that... I would look at Allegiant for the VPS base before any regional.

I thought they did away with VPS base. It's not in their catalog on their careers page anymore.

What if it doesn’t work out that way? Then he will be potentially two leg commuting. I don’t think we need to discuss what a terrible idea that is.

The only military pilots I've met who didn't go to the majors right away are people who wanted to live in that regional base or were helo pilots as they don't seem to be scooped up as quick.

I've seen a bunch who are not current. They go to a regional and soon after IOE get called up.
