25 Years

In the end all we are concerned with is time. Back when I started out as a new pilot it was common to reach a major while still in your 20's. Now 40 years of age is considered to be the norm. Everyday our life force slips from us. If we can't reach our dreams while still young enough to enjoy them then where is the benefit?

Time is a superior capital to all our profits. Aviation increasingly steals the days of our lives in trade for the hollow chamber of the flight deck.

Sounds like a blast.;)

Actually 12 hours in a Cargo Plane is great fun "Cha Ching! Cha Ching!" Plus with an RFO you get some rest and can read a bit. Believe it or not we are busy enough in the seat.

Thank you

I am done with concrete for a while. I am sure that 12 hours in a cargo plane is a lot like waiting for concrete to harden. :D

Nice one; actually when I poor concrete I spend my time doing other things while I wait for it to harden so it is actually OK too.

Heading back to the states today; DHead Super First Class, upper deck of a 747-400. The freight thing is alright sometimes, but in the end it's just a job that I wouldn't do for free.

Amen brother. Flying is a job that no one should do for free. My problem is that no one has stepped up to pay my price yet. :)

It is cold here to this morning (35) but looks like it will warm up a bit. I sure could use your help today. I am starting the landscaping on a 1300 sq ft house I finished last month. It is located out in the country and has sweeping views of the mountains. On Monday the landscaping sub-contractor will arrive to do most of the difficult labor. I always like to set up the valves and timer box. If you could help I would buy your lunch. Beer is included!! :)
