250TT is low enough. But now if you put a really young kid, without any teaching experience (the best way to learn), and no college degree to show that you can complete something from start to finish. Couple that with TSA's already high washout rate...

Sorry, it sounds kind of harsh, but I would not hire you, and I can understand why TSA won't either.

For someone who is only a CFII you certainly do judge people.

Anyways, I agree with you! :-D

I couldn't even attend a bridge program if I wanted to.
Turns out you have to be 21, a united states citizen (?), AND have
a college degree before you can start.
Guess finishing that CFI is my only way into that RJ....

I think maybe he means prodigy, not product.

Trans states will hire at or around 250

I have seen flight instructors there, and no flight instructors.
college degree, and no college degree, or degree not finished

It is posted over at pilot jobs.com that their mins are 250 and 25 multi

Why would you want to go to a regional before instructing. There's no way your at the proper level of knowledge yet.....and you want to fly passengers into busy airports? Come on bro, take the time get your CFI and do some teaching. You will learn more than you ever have so far and you will be more respected in the flying community for doing so. This hiring trend is not going to dry up anytime soon so don't rush it.

If this is the case, Im at a loss to understand why I haven't been invited to interview yet. I've had my app in for about 3 weeks now. I have a letter of rec from my friend who is an F/O there as well. I am short on the multi time, however I heard they were taking people without 100...I have 54. Can anyone shed some light?

I believe the 100 multi is a hard number. I have been trying to get a friend an interview and they have been saying he needs 100 multi(he has about 900tt). I know the guy that organized the Pilot Fair at Comair a couple weeks ago and that is what he told me.

There's a few gouges on airlineinterviews in which the applicants had less than 100me. Especially the latest few, I think there's one with about 56.

Just because its on the internet doesn't mean it is true... I haven't heard of us hiring anyone with less than 100 hours, but anything is possible.
