Anybody who's "stuck" as a regional FO should be doing it by choice (I know some, mil retirement, hubby flies for FDX, etc).

If you've been a regional FO more than a couple years and can't upgrade, take a DEC job, then hopefully move on to the bigs.

If you think you can career progress and maintain your schedule/QOL along the way you're delusional.

Especially if you're so stinking miserable at your current airline. I mean I get it for some people who have roots and don't want to commute and are otherwise happy. But why in the world in today's environment would you stay at a place that makes you hate life?? This isn't 2012.

Man I hate to say it but this is the stink that this airline has been giving off publicly for years.

C'mon man and take the 30 pieces of "flair" off your tie too. I know 15 pieces is the minimum but you look like a fool.

If it’s the same guy I’m thinking of he does that every other flight.

Best laugh I've had all week! Thanks for posting!

That is only 1 in a 3 part series. The other 2 are out there and are just as good. :D

Every airline has these pilots. And it doesn’t matter how well things turn out for them they are still just as miserable.

Hi Blackhawk,

At my previous airline, (pretty good place, competitive narrow body pay with the majors the later years) had a guy who my joke was " so&so gets up in the morning and goes "phuck, I'm still alive" "

Not a bad guy, and after a while it was just comical. He retired when we folded up shop. Always hoped that cheered him up.

Knew a guy for whom we said of him, a day without giving an a**chewing to each and everyone he met was like a day without sunshine.
