Let’s stop pretending. Nothing that we do is regional.
My last trip: ORD CLT IAH; IAH DCA EWR; EWR DFW EWR; EWR DCA ORD. Nothing about those cities, or routes, is regional. The only thing regional about this are the paychecks and the crappy hotels we stay in. It’s time we stand up for ourselves and take what we deserve in all of our contract negotiations.

I submit:
B-scale Pilot Group
Scope Clause
Farm Team
The regionals are not going anywhere- someone needs to give the majors profits.

You missed the point. LGA turns out of ORD for DL while UA and AA mainline push next to me doing the same thing should be a crime. Of course regionals aren’t going anywhere, but it’s time we start tapping in to those profits while we do the same exact thing they do and support their product more than mainline pilots do.

There's an app for that...
https://www.airlineapps.com/
But in all seriousness, if you get too expensive you'll cease to exist. Can't have your cake and eat it too at the regionals.

Seems to me a company called Commair tried that - and it did about as good as the Bay of Pigs Invasion did. Aviation is a layer cake and the regionals are at the bottom - that’s the fact of life.
Airline Apps is a way out, because if your respective pilot group finds a way to tap into those “profits”, there is five other regional companies willing to do the contract for less than you and before you know your airline is stapled to the long list of “defunct airlines”.

Regionals use to be that DFW-Waco,tyler, texarkana, ect... then the RJ came along... Air Canada did it right. But then even them lost the battle.... sadly the stalls to deep to recover.... Mainline should focus more on International scope (no more JV) then hash out how to get back the RJ flying...
