SEA? Compass is right up your alley. Good pay, A/C, and contract. Career progression, to a major/legacy, in 3 years or less (data driven). Lateral pilots will tell you CP has better hotels. Training footprint about 3 months.

What skew's Republic's numbers negatively as far as career progression is their acquisitions from the past. For example, there are many older Midwest Express pilots close to retirement age that wouldn't move on even if the opportunity presents itself. But if you take those pilots away, progression at Republic is no different then other Regionals.

Republic does not have a CPP program similar to Endeavor. It is simply an agreement to review selected applications at a set rate every month. No guarantee of an interview. Also, the big 3 have hired 27 from Republic thus far this year. Only 12 of those 27 are straight civilian track. I don’t know how that compares to other regionals. I’d be very interested in seeing other airline attrition data. The optics aren’t good though.

Endeavor has had over 800 pilots move to Delta in the last 5 years. How many from Republic?

With a commitment to continue to move 180 a year from the DGI program (plus any off the street hires)...

Great deal if you get tapped, and with a hard quota they'll have to approve some folks who wouldn't have made the OTS cut. But no guarantee for anyone. Slightly different than flow.

After reading for months in the forum about CPP and flows, I must say I wouldn't choose a regional based on that. Too many different facts/numbers that don't match what was promised by recruiters, etc.
It seems to me that Skywest, with its pros/cons and new contract offers more than other options initially. With its size and network it must be easier to pick up more flying and stay busy.
And I'm approaching my 40s slowly, wasn't born yesterday, not expecting to be on a regional 1.5 years and then go to a major. It'll take whatever it has to take, simple.

Really? Do you have access to the locals FB page? Please tell me how many non military pilots went to the big three so far this year. Let me help you out, 17 grand total. The sweet spot for getting out as a civilian is between 10-12 years at Republic. All this info is available on the locals FB page.

It’s not a Delta CPP, that would be United, which we don’t have. It’s the Delta application review program. 15 Republic pilots will have their application reviewed every month. The first review made it to 2006 hires. Delta doesn’t have to interview any, and I haven’t heard of any interviews yet. Oh endeavor actually has a guaranteed interview, so no it’s not the same.

Many Midwest express pilots? Do you consider 37 many? Because that’s the grand total still on our seniority list.

Much wrong info on your post, and all the data is available to you on the union Facebook page, unless you’re a management pilot.

My numbers show 76, and Republic does not have DGI. We have what every other non Delta owned regional has, an application review.
