In no particular order;

ROC
ITH
YUL
CHS
LEX

But in my opinion, for a good overnight, what's more important than where you are is the crew you are with. A stay at a good overnight with slam-clickers is less fun than a walk to the strip mall across the highway in Backwoods, USA with a fun crew. Oh, and as the poster above said, a good bed, no roaches or bedbugs, AC that works, etc.

Exactly. Even a fun destination sucks if you end up in a bad hotel in the middle of nowhere.

To give a real response instead of just my snarky one;

LNK, AZO, ATW, CRW are my faves. All downtown hotels, with lots of great stuff in walking distance. Pretty much any Midwest college town can be a blast.

Least favorites are PHL, TYS (hotel is like half an hour away from the airport and we pass multiple good hotels to get there), LIT (actually kinda like the town but our hotel is terrible and buggy), anywhere northwest of Chicago in the winter because I wasn’t built for 40 knot wind at 0 degrees, and MKE because if you get in after 9pm enjoy eating your gas station dinner since it’s the only place open to eat and getting stabbed over $2 on your walk back to the hotel.

SDF, 4th Street Live and all the other cool bars and resturants around. Slugger factory right up the street. I think a vast majority of airlines stay at the same hotel downtown along the river.

GNV, BTV to add make up my top three.

9E is plagued though of putting us at decent hotels but in the middle of an office park or only a gas station and a subway around. If you’re will to Uber you can find something in any city at least.

MYNN, MBPV and EYW are popular at Republic.

Some of my faves (OO):

YYJ (we stay up in Sidney near the airport)

Guanajuato, MX -- gorgeous town

Bozeman and Missoula MT (in the summer, of course) -- great college towns

Wichita -- downtown was a pleasant surprise

And then of course the obvious ones: SBA, SBP, MRY, EUG, SUN (in the summer), SMF (we stay right downtown).

On the flip side, I'll be just fine if I never see the following places ever again: Williston, Winnipeg, Fresno, Charleston WV, Edmonton, Idaho Falls, and let's not forget Devil's Lake :-0

Former SkyWest, favs were all the mountain towns (MSO, FCA, DRO, GUC, JAC) of course coastal towns (MRY, SBA, SBP, SAN) and Canada/Mexico (YYJ, YVR, YYC, YQB, BJX, MEX).

That said, with a good crew you can have fun anywhere. Some of my favorite times actually came from the likes of Devils Lake, ND and Eau Claire, WI of all places - granted those times were outliers but still.

I actually like Winnipeg. As long as it’s not in the middle of the winter and the crew wants to go to the Shark club. Saskatoon actually isn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I went with a crew to a rooftop pub in the middle of summer and we enjoyed ourselves.

I found some really good places in Saskatoon & Regina, always hidden gems in almost any spot for sure.

Agree with everyone who said BTV. Church St has a ton of great restaurants and bars, and then of course there's always the lake. OMA is surprisingly fun if you're downtown. And of course DCA, since most of the hotels have shuttles to the Metro and from there you can get anywhere for very cheap.

My favorite SkyWest overnights were, SBA, SBP, MFR, YYZ, YQB, FCA, and MRY.
