Food Stamps

I just found out that I almost qualify for foodstamps here in my state. All of this while the CEO of my company is a multi millionaire. This is so sad. I am an airline pilot transporting thousands of passengers a month. The funny thing is when people see me around the airport they think Im rolling in the cash....little do they know :(

I'll be living on my sailboat in about two weeks back home. I don't work for an RJ yet but I am thinking of investing in a good freezer and some fishing poles to help bring in food. Also, I might have a garden at the parents house; potatoes, tomatoes, etc...Resorting to our hunting and gathering gene, as males, can help us broke a$$ pilots keep food on our table during times of financial famine, which seems an endless dirt road. I'm sure the wife will help aerate the soil, rotate the crops and reel in a fish from time to time while I'm on a trip. Instead of thinking about my next surboard, tri-bike or improvement to my sailboat, I'll be praying for rain to keep my crops healthy and clean water to keep the fish plentiful. Also might dig a water well somwhere on shore and fetch a few liters of it as needed.

Use the search engine on this topic; a few months ago there was a great discussion as well as links to websites. You will actually find out that you'll almost qualify but not.

You need to go the distance and have a kid or two...then you'll be fully qualified!

Wait until you are flying the line, and the CSA's and gate agents that are rude to you and treat you like garbage becuase you are an "EXPRESS" pilot, and they make way more money than we do................CLE has some awesome ground crews, CSA's etc, but in EWR, they are miserable, mean S.O.B's that get annoyed when you ask them to let you down..god forbid you interrupt there phone conversation................om I am starting to rant and the Yankees are on
