2018 Regional Rate Comparison

Gross $/Credit Hours = $89
Gross $/Block Hours = $136
Gross $/ total hours at work (away from home) = $29
OO Captain. 1 Month on new pay agreement. 1 Training event.

I'm curious on the rates my fellow regional pilots saw in 2018.
Any volunteers want to post their results?
Use your last paycheck with a 2018 YTD. Divide your Gross Income by your block flown. Credit hour is any hour paid at your hourly rate for any reason. Total hours at work does not include commuting.

Try not to post your Gross or Net as it really doesn't say anything. Please include your airline, seat and any notable events.

$409/$686/$703

3 month 9E FO on the 175. We were flying to SLC to buy OO for DL when the left engine blew. Hulas was sitting in the jumpseat and nearly soiled his pants. Once we got the plane down at ASE, he sold the two of us the rights to mpet's cage on the spot. The captain and I spent several hours trying to determine what to do. The captain eventually gave me $20 for the cage, which is reflected in the rates above. I worked like five hours this month.

The OO deal fell through. The captain was never heard from again.

Gross $/Credit Hours = $87.01
Gross $/Block Hours = $145.59
Gross $/ total hours at work (away from home) = $33.83
YX Captain. Year 5 pay for 10 months; Year 6 for 2 months. ~15 Union days and ~10 Company Business days which I did my best to account for in the 3rd metric as we don’t get per diem for that stuff.

As someone just about to enter regional life this thread would be useful if people were to also give their yearly income. I know hourly rate x 1000 but I think some info on actual pay figures would help a lot of folks out.

2nd year Endeavor FO. $102k excluding tax free per diem, slightly north of $110k including per diem. Hustled in every way imaginable and live in base. My gross pay is slightly weighed up to the tune of $6666 as the bonus for Oct-Dec was paid in January.

Total block time for the year was about 875 and the first few months of the year were spent on reserve. Typical monthly credit time due was 115-130 with a few blowout months of over 175.

$123/block hour using the post per diem included gross. $28/time away from base hour.

Damn. I’d like to see what some Captains make.

How many days off did you average?

Have heard of some captains making an average of 150 credit hours a month. For awhile they had more access to 200%, etc. so upwards of $175k on third year pay.

I only averaged 7-8 days off a month I’d say. More if you count the unused reserve days where I was home.
