Damn, just read the article and saw the pics.

Well, now GoJet is in the mix.

Also considering SKW as I qualify for 3rd or 4th year pay, 3 different bases that are a one leg commute for me, and relatively quick uprades.

I’m at C5 and am on reserve as a CA. I get short call all the time. Lots of airport reserve but quite a bit of short call.

QUOTE=YLpilot;2774286]So I have been a DEC at both. Envoy isnt perfect but is lightyears ahead of Commutair. Yes you will sit reserve for a long time at Envoy. You will also sit reserve at least a year at Commutair. The difference being C5 doesnt even have SHORT CALL (They do but they hardly ever use it). At C5 on reserve you will be at the airport on standby 19 days a month. I hope you dont commute. Actually commuting to reserve at either one stinks real bad. The flow at Envoy is an actual flow, but for you it will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 years. That being said the CPP at C5 ain't no flow. You have to pass the Hogan, then pass the interview, then keep your nose clean at a company that is operationally really old, while getting 1000 hours PIC out of EWR being constantly canceled. If you have any more specific questions. PM me.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the info Fred.

So, besides the reserve, how do you like it? Where are you based?

About how long is it to get to DFW as a E145 DEC, even to sit Reserve? I assume a 145 DEC is probably going to get New York?

About how long does it take for a DEC to be able to bid to the 175?

Looks like at least 14-15 months based on the current reserve list as of today.

I see someone with 189X seniority which would be around a jan 2018 DEC.

As of right now DEC’s are getting ORD. Can’t remember if it’s the CRJ or 145 that’s the current standing vacancy bid. Though a new bid will be out shortly which may change the standing bid (basically what slots are leftover which DEC’s end up with).

Hope this helps.
