Default Commuting Parking Passes

I plan on commuting out of DTW...Anyone have a phone number or some form of contact that I can use to set up parking? Do you know if DTW has a discounted rate for employees commuting?

Any help would be very Helpful!

Thanks

What about ORD, does anyone know if they offer anything similar?

Google Detroit Wayne Metro Aiport.

You wont be able to get a parking pass. Only given out to employees who work at the airport.

I commute from DTW and park at the Qwik Park by the LaQuinta on Merriman. If you show them your airline ID then it is only $3 per day. It still can add up but it sure beats the $8 per day else where on the field

Another option is to find a commuter (any airline) who is based where you live and borrow or rent his pass. Most commuters don't need their domicile parking pass.

If you would of posted this earlier, I could of sold you mine. However, Wayne County Authority is making the bus drivers check ID when you board to bus to go back to the parking lot. They require a DTW SIDA badge to get on or DTW badge of some sort to board. I'm not sure the of individuals working the employee shuttle even care thatt much, as long as you have a badge.

I'm gonna chime in here. What maxfli says is right , if you're an employee associated with the DTW airport. But let's say you fly for American and live in/around the DTW area. It is possible to get an employee parking pass. You just have to go to the Wayne county admin office (L.C. Smith terminal)and fill out some paperwork pay a fee and they give you an employee parking pass. Little pricey but it's comparable to qwik park in the long run. Of course qwik park is prob'ly more reliable than the employee shuttle.
