In the mean time CAL continues to pay out passenger fees averaging $70,000 per market per month, as the aircraft is suppose to be able to take 50 passengers, and not 37. Not to mention the MX issues, they're up to 8 MX cancellations for the month. Don't get me started on crew shortages. CAL IS NOT HAPPY, and the storm is not passing.

Before I get flamed, I know this is not pilots fault. This is the byproduct of the management team at RAH, whom in the name of God got greedy and bit more than it could chew, and let's not forget CAL's brilliant plan for diversification.

are they using the old aca boneyarded airplanes? It makes sense that those planes would have bugs to work out in the beginning. In the first two weeks at MKE, all 3 of the Skywest "blue ridge" CRJ's broke

But, since that did not happen, the CRJ was put into use and training for the plane and it's lack of reliability has plagued the situation. The growing pains will soon pass. Give it a few months and everything should be fine.

ahhhhhhhhhh Its been more than a few months....................., My guess is as soon as you guys get your act together CAL will have its hands full with the Q400 operation in EWR, thats going to make you guys look good :)

growing pains my friend, and CAL must not have been too happy with xjt either, otherwise they wouldn't have 86'd a ton of their flying. funny how you can feel the contempt from xjt'ers for rah:rolleyes:

The contempt should be saved for Kellner. The only thing about XJT that CAL was not happy with is thier refusal to fly for less than their existing rates. So bring in RAH, and Larry can say to both, "Hey, why don't you and him fight". Mgmt loves to pit us against each other.

HMP, I'm curious. A few weeks ago a guy called you out. You said you were hired in a certain time frame. This guy said that there only 3 females hired at that time, and NONE of them are on the 76. So what is the deal, is he full of it or are you?

Bedford said it will "moderate" its growth plan by reducing scheduled ASMs and block hours by 3%-4% between May and September. He also said the company has faced challenges integrating CRJ200s for its new service agreement with Continental Airlines into its previously all-Embraer fleet. Additionally, "there are some mechanical challenges for CRJs that had been sitting in storage for 18 months," he said of aircraft formerly operated by Independence Air. "We could have dealt with either one but when faced with both we had to moderate the growth for the balance of the year."

What's interesting about this, obviously is that 1) ExpressJet is using the 60+ jets for their own namesake airline that RAH thought they were going to get, 2) RAH couldn't afford ERJ's to add to their fleet for the CAL contract (none available at a low price. So they had to develop a completely NEW training program (CRJ). And more surprising #3) is that SKYW didn't receive any CAL Express routes when their RFP was discarded by CAL. It would have been logical for SKYW to fly some of CAL's routes since they already had the planes and training program in place.

So what you're saying is that picture really isn't you... If you are worried about your identity, then posting a picture of "yourself" doesnt make much sense to me.
