I know this is not the correct forum for this, but how does Mesaba compare to Pinnacle and others in their work rules such as wx and maint. cancelation pay. I read earlier on this post that they have good work rules, but I was wondering how they stack up to others including Pinnacle.

Way better at XJ (Mesaba) from what I remember. Time and a half for open time, 11 days off minimum. On the list from day one with 75 hour guarantee in training and benefits. Hotel in training if you don't live in MSP. Min day 4.5 hours for showing up, Block or better, and trip guarantee, plus anything over your daily value on a buildup gets tacked on to the monthly total. I'm not sure if things have changed much since the BK, but I think they held the line pretty good from what my pals were saying (5% cut in compensation) which may still be better than 9E especially considering they where put in the cue as a creditor and each pilot is recieving about 25k paid in combination of 401K and cash from what I was told. Good pilot group overall with lots of experience considering they didn't grow for many years. The FAs aren't as good looking as when I started there tough.;)

Have fun.
