There have been rumors for some time now.

Air Middie is pulling out of all east coast EAS cities asap, so maybe it's related.

old news. the FL operation was already sold to gulfstream in 2004. AMW will be sold, it is mesa's staffing answer on the dark side.

Well,
I can say there has been some strange things going on but other than reducing our bases quite a bit lately and Halting ALL new hire FO classes, everything seems to be going as usual. We just received a new bid letting us know they are reducing our flying in COU and closing SLN but opening ICT so who knows. With only 20 A/C we are bearly alive anyways I guess. We seam to still be hiring street CA's but no FO's. I think that they figured this was the only way ppl might stay for any length of time. If they come in loggin' PIC then they are not as apt to jump ship...At least until they decide PIC time and the low pay isn't worth it like me .
Many might not know it but we are not allowed to bid left seat B-190 to any Right seat or Left seat of another prop so....this means only ERJ or CRJ CA from the left seat of the B-190. We did however receive a letter from the Chief wanting to know if any FO's would be interested in switching to the Jet, this is interesting because FO's on the B-190 are not allowed to bid to the right seat of the Jets either. Needless to say this would likely tick off a few CA's if it does happen.
I guess that sums up the rumors for now...Not that any one cares, it's Air Midwest right.
