SkyWest can’t junior man you and not many of the pairings have 5-6 legs. I think I’ve had maybe 2 6 leg days in almost 4 years.

ORD is OO’s biggest base (if you combine the fleets). Also, junior on the CA side on the CRJ.

No sure what you are talking about, but this sounds like OO in ATL...
I've been in ORD at OO and i fly 2-3 legs a day on AA 700, regularly doing 23h or more 4 day trips. I seldom do any trips under 20 hours.

Must be nice... All my 4 day trips are on the 200, the highest credit pairing is only 21h(the rest are all lower credit), and almost all are 4 leg days.

P.S. Prefer/bid locals and got (3) 4 days, a 3 day, and a 2 day.

Ive been OO ORD CRJ for 3 yrs never been junior manned and don't know what hot reserve is. We have a 1:2 duty rig, and pay is comparable to everywhere else.

Apparently you don’t know much about OO. Last time I checked, they don’t have junior manning, don’t do 6 legs a day (May rarely do 5), and they do have trip rigs.

So how does this "no junior manning" work at Republic. Let's say it's day 4 and plane breaks down at the outstation on your last turn. No other flights out. How do they avoid junior manning you to your day off?

You obviously get stuck working into a day off, but you get paid 4:12 min day. You’d either be deadheaded back to base that day or most guys would just jumpseat home on the first flight out. The only caveat is that we do have some clause somewhere in our contract about not “abandoning” an airplane. I’ve only heard of it being used to force crew members to stick around and repo the airplane on a very few occasions.
