Not on everything, but alot is returnable. I work in the men's furnishing dept on the summer season. Kenneth Cole makes an awesome comfortable shoe, it has some sort of air pcushioning inside they are work every buck, and the dont wear out quick. i highly recommend a shoe tree. it will spans the lifetime of the shoes, plus having 2 pairs just to let the shoe breath helps alot. and paying a visit to the shoeshine guy in the airport is worth the 3 bucks!

Concur on the shoe trees! I prefer the cedar variety with adjustable toes. Since I started using them, my work shoes have lasted significantly longer and look much better.

I'll second that. I've had mine for about a year and a half and they're still in good shape. Usually on sale at JC Penny's.

Whatever shoes you get, make sure they're TSA-friendly. The sight of crewmembers taking their shoes off to go through security always make me cringe.

Thirded. I'm on my third pair. They don't hold up as well as a more expensive shoe, but overall I think they offer great bang for the buck.

Yep. They have an airport friendly AND waterpoof shoe. Its a black split toe oxford...extremely comfortable. Get a pair of shoe trees, shoe cream, polish, and some odor eaters and they will last a long time. 160 bucks, but high quality.
