Something that has always bewildered me (but honestly I don't know enough about it). You can get a crapped out C172 or Cherokee with a six pack and Garmin 430 Waas and shoot LPV all day long, yet a brand new CRJ or E175 "can't"

That's because that brand new CRJ or E175 still doesn't have WAAS.

I think Horizon is LPV equipped, if not certified. They even have cat3 autoland on the 175’s and I believe they fly cat3 on the dash too.
